Shalyn Eason

Community Initiative Core Team

A Partner since 2012, Shalyn Eason co-led the 2015 and 2016 Lightning Grant Rounds in the areas of Economic Opportunity and the Environment. In 2017, she will be co-leading the Economic Opportunity & Employment Grant Round.

Shalyn is a consultant to Foundations and nonprofits. Previously, Shalyn worked in Program Finance at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and in strategy and operations management consulting at Deloitte Consulting. Her professional experiences with nonprofits and Foundations include strategic planning, organizational capacity assessment and financial analysis.

Shalyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard. She enjoys running, cooking, crossword puzzles, Stanford sports, and spending time with her husband and two children.
