Jody Chang

Jody oversees SV2’s internal operations and Grantee and Impact Investee portfolio. She manages SV2’s impact investing and grantmaking work, supporting SV2’s hands-on, collaborative investment process in both social enterprises and nonprofit organizations. She has been an SV2 Partner since 2008 and previously served as an SV2 Board member.

Jody also serves as Director of Community Relations for Consulting Within Reach, a consulting firm that provides strategy, marketing, fundraising, and technology services to the social sector in the Bay Area. She is the founder and former president of the Hammer Montessori Foundation which supports an innovative public Montessori school in the San Jose Unified School District.

She is also a Managing Director of The Campbell Foundation, a family foundation which makes grants primarily in education and the arts, with a special interest in organizations that benefit under-served children, youth and women.

She holds a B.A. in History and Literature from Harvard University. Jody and her husband Curtis have two daughters, one at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, and one at Notre Dame San Jose.
