Jason Chen

Jason is currently co-leading the Impact Investing Group and has a passion for education. He has also been the Board Member and Partner for SVP (Social Venture Partners) – Toronto Since 2014. Previously, Jason has worked closely with Non-profits, including Visions of Science, Arts Starts, and Raising the Roof. In addition to volunteering at local organizations, Jason enjoys Sailing, Long-distance running, Hiking, improvising and Reading.

Jason leads Growth, Corporate Development & Strategy, and Finance at LotusFlare, a start-up focusing on making mobile internet both affordable and available to the world. Previously, he was responsible for managing a Relative Value and an Alternative Credit Funds at Periscope Capital. Prior to Periscope, he was part of the Structured Notes and Exotic Options Desk in the Global Equity Derivatives Group at TD Securities.

Jason is an MBA candidate at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a CFA Charterholder.
