SV2 Partner and prospective Partner families with children ages 4-12 are invited to join us for a BioBlitz at Hellyer Park!
At the BioBlitz, you, your children, and naturalists will come together to explore Hellyer park and document observations of all kinds of living things in a short period of time. Sponsored by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful (KCCB), this event invites citizen scientists of all ages to help identify species and contribute observations about the area using the iNaturalist app on a smartphone or tablet. Working together to make observations and collect data advances biodiversity research, promotes local conservation, and helps scientists answer some of our planet’s most pressing questions. After you complete your registration with SV2, please consider registering with KCCB as well at their Eventbrite page here. This is not required but will help them as they plan for the event. All participants will also have to complete a waiver.
