Silicon Valley Urban Debate League (SVUDL), an SV2 Grantee, invites you to an event to learn more about the organization, program and results on Thursday, March 16 from 5:30 to 7:30pm, hosted by Jennie Savage (SV2 Partner & SVUDL Founder/Board Chair) and John Dawson (SV2 Partner & SVUDL Board Officer).
SVUDL is an education organization that brings national level, rigorous high school debate programs to the faltering, under-resourced schools throughout the Silicon Valley, and focuses on youth who are most at-risk of failing or dropping out of school. To date, SVUDL has achieved a 100% success rate with students in the program graduating high school and attending college.
We hope you will attend this event to observe SVUDL Students demonstrate their skills in a live debate, and hear from SVUDL Alum and Staff about mentorship, program evaluation and plans, and the critical and valuable skills students acquire through competitive debate.
