Event Description
During this session, we will spend more time talking about the nonprofit sector and how it works, as well as all things “grantmaking” – how to evaluate potential grant recipients, and related topics. We will meet at the first of our three prospective grantee locations – and do a hands-on service project, meet with the leadership to discuss how they would use grant funds, and provide the teens with ample opportunities to learn about the issues of poverty in the Bay Area, this organization’s alleviation approach, and more!
