First Friday Lunch with NewSchools Venture Fund

Deborah Mintz is the Chief Advancement Officer at NewSchools Venture Fund, a national leader in philanthropy. Her work includes developing resources and leadership for NewSchools and connecting investors to education entrepreneurs. As a nonprofit venture philanthropy firm, NewSchools raises philanthropic capital from both individual and institutional investors, and then uses those funds to support education entrepreneurs who are transforming public education. Their goal is to create a future in which every child, regardless of race or economic status, has access to the resources he or she needs to succeed in college and beyond. Past SV2 Grantees Reading Partners and New Teacher Center have both received funding from NewSchools in recent years. 

Lunch provided - Please come a few minutes early to get your food and find a seat, so that our program can start at 12:00pm.
